Senior undergraduate student, Katherine Griffith, won an Honorable Mention for the Presidential Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Poster at the annual conference presented by the Classical Association of Middle West and South. The conference took place from April 3rd to April 6th in 2024.
Her poster was titled, "What's in a Name: Autobiographical Memory and Identity in the Erotic Graffiti of Roman Pompeii" and was based on her departmental honors thesis.
Katherine will begin her Ph.D. in Ancient History at the University of Cincinnati in Fall 2024.
