I came into classics at the beginning of my third year of undergrad, and have since then been interested in researching the Roman Near East. My first major project was my undergraduate honors thesis, which investigated the initial settlement of the Limestone Massif in Northern Syria during the 1st and 2nd centuries CE using both archaeological and epigraphical sources. After completing my MA at IU, I hope to pursue a PhD researching the Roman Near East.
