Course Description

Haunting tales of murder, incest, and cannibalism, clashes pitting gods against gods, Zeus’ unending infidelities—these stories, continually retold and reinterpreted, have been captivating imaginations for over 2500 years. What do they have to say to us, so far removed from their first tellings? What can they tell us about the unique cultures in which they first arose?
