My primary research interests are the poetics of the Iliad and the representation of principally several key Trojan figures across Greek epic, lyric, and drama. The capstone projects for my B.A. and M.A. degrees thus explored the characterization of Hector in the Iliad and of Cassandra in sources from Homer onward, respectively. I hope to add to our understanding of the poem and of its ancient literary afterlife in forthcoming work.
