I have always been fascinated by languages, and my study of Latin from a young age inspired me to pursue a degree in Classics from Hillsdale College, where I also began to learn Ancient Greek and received awards on several translation contests. My interests include Latin epistolography, Greek and Roman tragedy, the writings of Seneca, and historical linguistics. Having also studied music in college, I am interested in Greek and Roman ideas about music, the role of music in ancient poetic performances, and reception of Classics in classical music.
